My dear family,
Since accepting the offer from Baylor, I have completed background information in order for background check to be completed, as it is required in healthcare. I will be seen Monday 12:00 noon in Employee Health for TB test, UA, and if they require testing for immunization titers. When this background check and "physical" is completed, I will be told when I will start my employment. Wanted to catch you up to date.

ReplyDeleteSarah, I miss those three little angels so much. I miss giving squeeze hugs and kisses. Sorry I did not get back to anyone yesterday, but didn't feel particularly well. And, yes I am reminded time and time again of the tender mercies of the Lord. He keeps that light going and encourages us each step of the way. I meet with Cecilia (yes, it is the correct spelling) in HR Monday at 11:15 am, then with Employee Health at 12:00 noon for my PPD, UA, etc. for which I am required to bring all prescribed and over the counter medication bottles with me; that'll sure be a load!! I've already faxed the information for the background check with my signature, as well as completed other online requirements. In healthcare it seems as though you give the same information at least 10 times in 10 different ways.

ReplyDeleteYes, what is the news? I am having a Tupperware party 1/31/09. I am scheduled for knee replacement surgery 2/19/09 at 1:00p.m. I also couldn't remember the name of the city you are living in in Texas.
ReplyDeleteBackground check was fine. My urine was clean, as if we expected otherwise and the PPD was negative. Bonita at Providence Employee health is such a dear, as I called her and she faxed my current immunization record to Baylor. I started work this past Monday, a week sooner than I expected, because background check came back so soon and there was no reason to do second PPD, since Bonita faxed the information from Providence. I live in Plano Texas. I will do a new post about this past week.
